The highly experienced midfielder returned to the Rovers in the summer of 2022 and his knowledge of the game has proved pivotal to the Rovers. He is known for his exceptional vision on the field, he is one of the best to pick out a pass from nowhere. Scanning the field regularly to identify open spaces and potential passing opportunities
James White previously played for the Rovers back in January 2005 when aged just sixteen and played 132 games and scored ten goals. He played a vital part of the team that reached the final of the Essex Senior Cup in 2007. After three and half seasons, he moved to Southern League side Dartford where he rose to prominence, playing a part of the side that won promotion via the playoffs and then going on to play for Thurrock before signing for Concord Rangers in 2014.
He spent five years with Concord, becoming club captain before leaving to join East Thurrock United. He featured for Isthmian side Canvey as they played in the Bostik North playoffs having joined on a dual registration in March 2018. After spending two seasons with the Gulls, he joined Bowers and Pitsea for one season before returning to Burroughs Park in the summer of 2022.
